I’m honestly still in disbelief writing this. For the past 6 months, I’ve been coming to this location every single day because of my wife’s pregnancy cravings. It’s been part of our routine, something we actually look forward to. Never once have I had an issue—until today. Today was hands down the most unpleasant, frustrating experience I’ve ever had here. What shocked me the most? This came from a manager who claims to have been there for five years. Instead of simply letting me order what I wanted, she completely took over the interaction. She wouldn’t let me choose my size. She pushed the size she wanted. She ignored my preferences on toppings. It honestly felt like I wasn’t even the customer anymore. When I calmly asked for her name, she refused to give it. That alone says a lot. Instead, she told me to “call customer service and describe her.” That’s unbelievable behavior for someone in a management position. For reference, she has short red hair, appears to be in her late 50s or early 60s, wears glasses, and has a heavier build. Let me be clear—this has nothing to do with the newer employees. Expect a kids portion instead of a small scoop. We are family of four all of us we asked for small size ice cream cone, by the time I ordered and gave me my “ small chocolate strawberry in a sugar cone” I noticed the portions where half scoop of ice cream and 5 pieces of strawberries! The cone looked balanced as pictured at the store… for those 4 “small ice cream” we payed $ 23.77 Better go to HEB for that amount of money. I asked the guy serving the scoops… that if it was a kids portion? Because it didn’t look like a small portion.. he replied if you want I can charge you as a kid! Then the coworker girl asked, he told him what I said and she said: just put a little more ice cream in the top… unfortunately I didn’t took pictures. First time ever this happened… and most likely the last I will go to this creamery in particular. I will go to another branch maybe the one in Jacaman.

This place is a dump. Their ice cream is thawed. By the time you begin to eat it, it’s practically liquid. The service is poor. The place is dirty. The worst place to grab an ice cream. It’s not even considered ice cream since it’s thawed out so badly. 10 years ago this place was amazing! Today it’s a dump!

Great ice cream and plenty of toppings. I love their waffle cones, and especially like the small sizes. I can easily eat the large cone, but have to watch my intake. Their chocolate ice cream cake was very good too! Friendly service. My favorite flavor is cheesecake with fresh raspberries. Definitely recommend this establishment for a quick and delicious dessert.
